About me:

I am a native English speaker with nearly 30 years of working experience in translating from Czech to English and in proofreading English. I have a university degree from the University of Florida with English Linguistics as my field of study. My parents and siblings all have university degrees. I was born in Massachusetts, grew up in Florida, and moved permanently to the Czech Republic (then Czechoslovakia) in 1993 at the age of 26.

When I’m not working at my PC, I enjoy giving tours as a licensed guide through the castle and town of Český Krumlov (CZ), playing guitar with friends (privately and professionally), and spending time with my family.

My fields of specialization are primarily history and cultural heritage, but I can proofread and correct most any English text after it’s been translated from the source language.
